Registration

(depends on selected options)

Base fee:
  • Keynotes, invited & contributed talks, posters, discussion, coffee for those attending in person all included - lunch is not included and "on your own" but is available nearby. (Membership renewal is not included, please do that separately.)
  • Keynote, invited & contributed talks, poster "tour", discussion, attending via Zoom. (Membership renewal is not included, please do that separately.)
  • Special Registration (Virtual only) for new teachers of physics who are in their first five years of teaching and who have yet to participate in AAPT-NES. Please email for approval for this registration to sturmde.AT.maine.edu.
  • Registration for H.S., Undergraduate, and Graduate Students only.
  • Vendor Registration (1 person) includes sponsorship mention, 10 minute speaking slot, mailing list access, and box lunch.
  • Vendor Registration (2 Persons) includes same as 1 person registration, and breakout room/table for Saturday and lunch for 2 persons.

Location:  University of Connecticut, Neag School of Education, Gentry Hall (Storrs, CT 06269). Our section welcomes masking indoors.  We will have masks available.

Call for Abstracts

We are encouraging contributions with our theme “Expanding CONNections for Teachers of Physics”; other topics will also be considered.

**  Note, APS members are always welcome to register for AAPT sessions and workshops with the understanding that there is no APS documentation of presentations as at AAPT or AAPT-led joint meetings.

If you plan to contribute a paper or poster, please send your abstract before the end of the day, Friday, November 4th. Abstracts (contributed and posters) may be submitted...  Posters are especially encouraged, and remain up from 9 am until the end of day.
